70 doesn't seem so old anymore.
My favorites from the list:
John Houseman appeared for a book signing at the University of Minnesota Bookstore (Minneapolis Campus) on October 16, 1979.
The book he was promoting at the time was his second volume of memoirs titled:
Front and Center
Published by Simon & Schuster in 1979, the book covers Houseman's life and career from 1942 to 1955, including his work as a producer and director in Hollywood and on Broadway, as well as the founding of the Mercury Theatre with Orson Welles.
I am fortunate enough to have a signed copy of his book. Mr. Houseman was gracious and charming in person.
