In some movies there are armies of beings fighting humankind.

(Spoiler bars attached to avoid spoiling the movies for you.)

Which of these armies is the most memorable bizarre?

Suggestions:

Just movies, no tv-series, animated or documentations.

@Breumaster,

Thank you for making the corrections.

You added choice #17 after I posted. Although "monkies" is a correct plural of "monkey", "monkeys" is the preferred plural.

Please change:

17
Wicked Witch of the West's Army of Winged Monkies
To:

17
Wicked Witch of the West's Army of Winged Monkeys
In Aquaman, the Atlentean armies trying to conquer earth are not lead by Aquaman, but by his half brother, Ocean Master.

Correct. But as I remembered, Aquaman lead a contra-army againt the army of Ocean Master at the end. I'll correct it and watch that scene again. As I remember, Aquaman's army had that extra big sea monster. Wasn't  it?

Indeed, he has a bizarre army of his own, but he isn't fighting humankind as your description says.

@Breumaster and @ACT_1,

Jason and the Argonauts (1963) is not an animated film. However, the Skeleton Army and most of the special effects were stop motion animation created by Ray Harryhausen. Harryhausen also was the producer of the film.

@dan_dassow and @ACT_1 ,

I wouldn't have called Jason and the Argonauts animated. And the same counts for movies, which have CGI-effects, even though when they are very dominant and take much screen size. If I would count them as animated, the list would be empty. I think the border for animated is reached by movies like Who Framed Roger Rabbit or Pete's Dragon. They have clearly wanted animated movie characters. I'll put Jason on the list. ;)

Heading for 6 more options to reach 25.

If there don't come in any more suggestions, I'd say it's ready to go.

Hi, Pencho. I've put The Invasion of the Body Snatchers on the list. Pew, that's a real bizarre army of transforming plants planters. I've put Small Soldiers on the list.

P.S.:

I've checked it again. They're not animated in a desing like Pete's Dragon. It's more like CGI's to make plastic figures look realistic. It's more like Harryhausen's animations, just by CGI. That's ok. It must be more that 20 years that I saw that movie. But the images are unambiguous.

If you watch Mr. Robot, the best way to appreciate it IS to binge watch. There are too many stuff going on which will take an prolonged wreck for robot news . I watched it every week when it became new, however it changed into a better revel in binging.
