Hooray for Da 5 Bloods. Haven't seen 'Cuties' yet but looking forward to it.

It seems more fun and a better chance to get unique picks from everyone.

I love the 10 picks (movies, TV shows, and/or video games) option too.

Going with 5 to make the list short, concise and that much harder lol.

I also support the second option - due to COVID19 most of the better films due for release this year were pushed back to 2021.

A number of good TV series and Mini Series were released this year, tho.

Do you mean the things we list should be from 2020, or is it about our favorite movies/shows etc. that we saw during the year?

I think/hope he means the former.

Also, I think/hope he restricts TV shows and mini series to those that premiered in 2020.

But his poll, his call.

Then you're going to have people who rewatched The Dark Knight / Shawshank / Breaking Bad for the 25th time...

No, it's good this way - it doesn't have to be movies we rewatched, we can choose movies/shows we saw for the first time.

That's what I had in mind anyway.

I'll stick to 2020 releases.

1. Devs (Mini-Series)

2. Star Trek: Picard (TV Series)

3. Helstrom (TV Series)

4. Tenet (Feature Film)

5. Fantasy Island (Feature Film)

Though your choice of Fantasy Island makes me cringe, I am so happy you have Devs leading the list. Devs was royally snubbed at the Emmys. So many unrecognized performances by several of the leads.

, , and . Maybe they'll get recognized at the Golden Globes?

Lots of completely unfounded criticisms were made about this brilliant mini series.

The plot was clever and engaging; the pacing was criticised but I did not think it was "slow" at all - the production team maintained an ambiance of mystique and suspense throughout.

Sonya Mizuno's acting was grossly unfairly criticised, as was that of the supporting cast.

I think all the haters were too dumb to understand the show, so they bashed it.
