Live Poll: Favorite Fictional Movie Chef
The chef's role is not only to cook food; the chef is also responsible for choosing the right ingredients, creating a cuisine, and handling the kitchen. The chef is not just a cook; he or she is the director of a kitchen.
Which of these movie chefs would you like to prepare food for you?

I would remove anyone we never see or is only briefly shown cooking, like Adrian Grenier (Nate) from The Devil Wears Prada, and others to focus on Chefs or equivalents from lesser known foodie movie titles. Some lesser known chefs in international foodie movie titles include Amitabh Bachchan (Buddhadev Gupta) in Less Sugar (2007), Aasif Mandvi (Samir) in Today's Special (2009), Isabelle Carré (Chocolatier Angélique Delange) in Romantics Anonymous aka Les émotifs anonymes (2010) and Aditya Roy Kapoor (Taru) in Invitation of Love aka Daawat-e-Ishq (2014), for example.
Also, I would advocate that a couple entries should be amended to reflect culinary teams. I think you are underestimating the talent of some of the other chef characters in the same movie, as well as, how endearing these characters are to poll takers.

FYI
The film, Julie & Julia is a true story, so the chefs are not fictional and would be ineligible for this poll. "The film contrasts the life of chef Julia Child in the early years of her culinary career with the life of young New Yorker Julie Powell, who aspires to cook all 524 recipes in Child's cookbook in 365 days, a challenge she described on her popular blog that made her a published author."

Babette without a doubt, but I'm not sure that I would eat the "caille en sarcophage" as Löwenhielm did.

My favorite, Primo from Big Night. Beautiful movie, and every dish he makes looks delicious, I would try absolutely everything coming from his kitchen.

I think Vianne and Angélique only made chocolates, so perhaps they should be removed?
