@jaf_ismael​ Oh, yeah, Million Dollar Baby is in the Top 250, as well. I knew that Swank won the Oscar for that role but I often forget which movies are in the Top 250. That's a good idea. It's up to you but she and the movie certainly fit the description so sure, I think that it's a great idea.

Your idea made me think of another one and I checked to make sure that it's in the Top 250: Marlon Brando as Terry Malloy in 'On the Waterfront.'

Wow, characters who are boxers seem to do quite well with the Oscars.

I think it's OK to include Swank, but if you don't, maybe "male" should be added to the text for clarity:

Both of these male actors were Oscar nominated for their boxing roles and both characters are in IMDb top 250 movies.

Brando also won, but Peter pointed out that he plays an ex-boxer and there isn't much boxing in the film.

It seems I will keep the list as is. thanks for Express your opinions
