I understand this suggestion is based on the results from your "duos" poll, but since we already have Frodo vs. Sam vs. Gollum perhaps it would be more interesting to face-off the four hobbits in one poll, instead of doing two separate polls with Frodo vs. Sam and Merry vs. Pippin?

Pippin has always been my favorite even when I read the books.
If it had been up to Frodo, the ring would not have been destoryed. He'd have kept it!
