Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) has officially gross over 2 billion and became the third James Cameron film to do so. It also got an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture just like Cameron's two previous masterpieces (Titanic and Avatar). FYI, Avatar: The Way of the Water just eclipsed Titanic this past week in worldwide box office ticket sales for the #3 all-time spot. James Cameron now has three of the top four worldwide grossing films and three of the six that have broken the $2B mark worldwide. It probably doesn't have the legs to catch Avengers: Endgame for the #2 spot worldwide, as it need $550M more to pass it.
FYC, some suggested tweaks. You should specify worldwide, Oscars-nominated and add the $ sign at a minimum.
Also, the AMAPS uses the Oscars over the Academy Awards as its preferred branding for its awards and award ceremonies. I try to use the Oscars if I use it once and both the Oscars and Academy Awards, if I have to repeat myself.
