Live Poll: Don’t Tell Me HE Gets a Card On Father’s Day Too

Or maybe this list should be called “Bad Daddies”. Well thanks to Yrnej for inspiring this with her Fictional Characters Named Mother or Mama and for ur44797245 for his poll Favourite Film Father for forcing to go the other way. No body’s has done a bad father or bad daddy poll. Also thanks to Dan for creating a list of IMDb polls already done. So, which one of these fictional fathers or daddies, and weather they are the biological fathers or not, which one of these characters least deserves a Father’s Day gift from his kids?

Mrs. Doubtfire maybe was not a good father at the beginning of the movie, but then he got better. I don't think he will qualify to the list.

I was thinking about Ras.
I can see about checking the spelling of the names because quite a few of them made me do a double take to make sure what I saw was correct. Both Allie Fox and Jamie Mills made me do a double take. Especially Jamie Mills because all throughout “House Without A Christmas Tree” he is called James, not Jamie. But that is how he is listed in the credits as: Jamie Mills.
As for Game Of Thrones, I need someone to suggest it too because I wasn’t able to watch the show because nobody wanted to pay for HBO. That includes “The Sopranos” too.

Also I’m considering splitting the poll into two polls. One for movies and the other for films. All of your suggestions will be on them if I do that.
Oh, take a look at Father from “The Avengers” selection. That is play on you including Mother on your poll. I always thought that was a little twisted on The Avengers.

Oh, as for “There Will Be Blood”, I would put both Daniel Plainview and Eli Sunday on because both were assholes. Sorry for the rude frank speaking. One used a kid for money and lied about being his true father. The other beat his daughter while being a false profit only concerned with money and power for himself. Both deserve to be on there.

Try Tywin Lannister. While he was truly proud of his twin children Jaime and Cersei, he was always trying to control their lives, repeatedly used them as political pawns,  and showed them little genuine affection. And he really hated his youngest son Tyrion, and subjected him to verbal abuse and a series of humiliations for most of the young man's life. (Including arranging for Tyrion's first wife to be gang-raped and driving her into exile.) Tyrion eventually committed patricide while Tywin was daring him to do it, because he thought that Tyrion lacked the guts.

Curiously, the novels imply that Tyrion was the son who most resembled Tywin in personality.

I had ended the list with a decision between Fagin from “Oliver Twist” and Don Vito Corleone from “The Godfather”. The deciding factor was at least Corleone at least loved his kid’s before leading them into a life of crime.
