I will argue with all time. 

Trophies wise CR7 is ahead of Messi,

Most notable are 5X CL , CL with two different clubs , Euro 2016 with Portugal.

But playing wise Messi is so better. Dribbling,skills,assists,playmaking, etc. Messi is also far more versatile.
