Which World Cup football tournament from 2000 to 2022 is your favorite?

Since there was no World Cup in 2000, you could change the title to 2002-2022

For Me:

2002- Should have been great, but what I remember the most is the obscene help that was given to South Korea and that ruined it for Me. If they had really earned they place in the semis I would have been happy, but the way they did it was insulting.

2006- Very dissapointing group phase with a calendar that mean there was almost nothing in play the last matchday. But it featured one of the few Mexico teams that I have been proud to see playing so that was good.

2010- Spain is my second home and they were the champions, so that was great. I have never been more excited in a final match ever.

2014 - Great group phase and some great last 16 matches, particullary Algeria against Germany and Costa Rica big surprise. Another great Mexican team that probably deserved better. Some quarter finals were really boring with teams playing as if they weren't about to get eliminated, and I didn't care for the final, but overall, good enough.

2018 - There wasn't a great underdog story, which are always my favorite, but overall it was one of the most entertaining from start to end.

2022 - Better than I expected, although some of the things surrounding the cup were not good. We had the worst Mexican team I have seen in my life, which is logicall given the terrible, terrible sporting choices my local federation has taken during the last decade, but still that didn't help me to connect.

So I would probably vote for 2014.
