IMDb Poll Board: The Most Acclaimed Film that You Haven't Seen

The IMDb poll board members revealed the most acclaimed films they haven't seen and a (not-so-good) reason to explain why.

Which of these films is an absolute must-see?

List: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls088114520/

Note: List an acclaimed movie and explain why you haven't seen it. You can include a dose of humor if you wish.

Masters of the Universe (1987) as @jeorj_euler mention in one of these threads.

I did not watch it in 1987 but, strangely enough, I do not remember why. I was a great enthusiast of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe cartoon. Perhaps 30 years ago I thought it would be sacrilege to portrait He Man in a movie... I don't know.

Nightcrawler (2014) - I thought this was a superhero movie about small x-men character. Just realized, it wasn't!

I missed you wanted a reason.

I mean to watch it, but it is a long film and when I have had the time I have prioritized other long films.

@cinephile

Many of these 70s and 80s horror classics can be rented on Amazon Prime for as little as U$2.99.

Many are also free with a Prime Subscription.

This should be good value to you as you already spend a significant amount of money each month on films.

Haven't seen many of the classics if I had to pick one it would be Citizen Kane (1941).

cinephile,

There are way too many films and television shows I want to see that I have not seen. I keep adding to the list after reviewing poll suggestions.

For you consideration:

(1991)

Reason:

When (1991) debuted my daughters were young and I was disinclined to watch films with horrific themes. I was also working long hours.

Further thoughts (which are not necessary to include):

(1991) did not seem to be the kind of film to enjoy with my wife at the time.

My pick Forrest Gump.

(This is an acclaimed movie that I definitely intend on seeing at some point, but have never been in quite the right headspace to.)

My pick: Hamilton

I don't know why - I heard & read of it. I know there was a hype and I wanted to see it. I realized it was shown on a platform I don't like. Maybe that's very wrong, but then I totally lost the interest in it. Maybe later.
