Live Poll: Favorite South Seas Film
Many film genres have decreased in popularity over the years and one of yester year's most popular genres that has decreased in popularity is the South Seas genre. As per Wikipedia, it "is a genre spanning various expressive forms including literature, film, visual art, and entertainment that depicts the islands of the southern Pacific Ocean through an escapist narrative lens."
Which of these South Seas genre films is your favorite, or if you have never seen one of them, which calls your attention the most? Link to Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Seas_genre

A belated comment, a smart move to have another movie option.

One of my favorites movies in a South Sea setting is Otto Preminger's 'In Harm's Way'. The popularity of the number of films made in the genre definitely seems to mirror the whole tiki culture phase that America went through in 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.
