I don't think the author noticed my comment before creating his poll-list.

And seeing how he has fewer polls and votes than me, I let that category go.

I've re-made the poll for another category, one major and one minor.

Wouldn't it be a little complicated for everyone,  Ed is not able to create the post on getsatisfaction, he can't directly reply to feedback on his polls, and we can't reply directly to him here.

 This is definitely not practical for any of us.

Dan Dassow, Ed asked me to create a suggestion page for this poll, so here it is. 

cinephile, it's not that complicated, to be honest. I'm more than eager to lend him a hand for now, especiall considering I'm usually slacking off some major poll opportunities.

We are in uncharted territory regarding Ed's suspension.

I appreciate your optimist, but making polls by correspondence fits in my definition of complicated.

Especially, since we don't seem to know if the suspension of Ed is gonna be revoked (or when), I don't affirm to know what is the best solution, all I know is that doing polls by correspondence is probably not optimal on the long-run, for Ed and the board.

It's not as if you are being made to do any extra work.

It is not a matter of how much work it takes, it is a matter that communication is unarguably harder.

I am OK with this so long as this does not become complicated. A mitigating factor is that Ed still gets notifications. We shall see whether this actually works.
