Dan dare was time based. The player had to escape a scenario by doing the right things.

Maniac Mansion was an adventure. The player had to escape an evil mansion, which was

owned by a weired scientist and his deranged wife. Maniy Mansion: Great playing fun factor.

Did you have a ZX Spectrum computer?

Sadly not! I was young and my allowence was low. I still know that there was a single guy in school who had a Spectrum and therefore was a target of being ridiculed. Youngsters have to orientate and so I didn't want a Spectrum. Now, as grown-up, I would like to also have made the experience of using a ZX Spectrum. The user told me that it would be interesting for programing, which I totally ignored, facing to play more cracked games on the C64. I wish, I heard on the guys words. But later - Programming in Assembler on the C64 with the Final Cardridge III was also a nice and challenging thing.
