Apparently, Hawaiian Shirt Day celebrates the anniversary of Hawaii becoming the 50th state on August 21, 1959. Maybe the poll could be published on the 21st.

I could have the 21st century version (80% complete) ready for the 65th anniversary of Hawaii's statehood. So, there could be date tied to both polls, if you want. Regardless, the 20th century version is ready to go now or could be delayed a week. I will add the comment about August anniversary of Hawaii's statehood and make them both more about the month, so they can be published at anytime in the time in the month.

August 2024 marks the 65th anniversary of Hawaii's admission as the 50th state of the United States of America on August 21, 1959. It also marks the 126th anniversary of the annexation of Hawaii by the United States as a U.S. territory on August 12, 1898. Plus, National Hawaiian Shirt Day is celebrated in the United States on the third Friday of August each year. In celebration, we offer a retrospective of Hawaiian shirts in films from the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. #NationalHawaiianShirtDay
