Movie connection: Husbands and Wives (1992) spoofed on The Ben Stiller Show (ep 1.9, with Garry Shandling) (1992)
I posted the following in March, which was rejected, and then rejected a second time when I provided a link to confirm the nature of the sketch that spoofed "Husbands and Wives."
"The Ben Stiller Show" (1992) {With Garry Shandling (#1.9)}spoofed this film in the sketch "Woody Allen's Bride of Frankenstein". Several elements of Husbands and Wives are spoofed: 1) Stiller plays the Frankenstein Monster but with the signature curly hair style of "Husbands" star Sydney Pollack, 2) Andy Dick is made up as a mummy, doing his impression of Woody Allen. 3) The Mummy's wife is played by Becky Thyre, doing a Mia Farrow impression; 4) the sketch has the same storyline as the opening of Husbands and Wives: a couple's old friends announce they're breaking up.

For confirmation, please check out the imdb.com cast notes for The Ben Stiller Show (1.9). https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0521385/reference
Also for confirmation of this information, please refer to the sketch on YouTube (starts 2:22). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flKWBVK7OZA
The elements of Husbands and Wives being spoofed include: 1) Stiller plays the Frankenstein Monster but with the signature curly hair style of "Husbands" star Sydney Pollack, 2) Andy Dick is made up as the Mummy, doing an impression of Woody Allen. 3) The Mummy's wife is played by Becky Thyre, doing a Mia Farrow impression; 4) the sketch has the same storyline as the opening of Husbands and Wives: a couple's old friends announce they're breaking up. While the sketch borrows the title and the iconic Elsa Lanchester makeup for Bride of Frankenstein, there is no other element of that film being spoofed. The sketch first aired in 1992 while Husbands and Wives was in theaters.”
Can anyone explain why this movie connection has been rejected, given that as requested, I provided a link to the Ben Stiller Show episode (with time-code for when the Frankenstein sketch begins)?

Hi doug_molitor -
Can you post the 18-digit submission reference numbers associated with your recent Connection updates that were declined?
