The “Credit only” situation

It has always struck me as unfair and quite deceptive actually, for tv series particularly, how the “credit only” credits are displayed. If a person is credited for all episodes of a series but appears in none of them, they are still listed at the top of the cast list, above those who actually contr

Series end year

Can you make an option to change series end year on the edit page? Yeah i known you can add end year on the edit page, but you can't change or remove it Now you need to write to imdb contact and wait a day, and sometimes it doesn't happen on the first time, because like i said it before, i will say

Things that make IMDb easier to use

I live in an area that have frequent power failures so why not implement a function that automatically save the text input (every 1 minute?) when we users are writing a review. As it is now, we lose everything when the power goes down (as it did write this) and we must start all over again! Even if

cast and crew verification should have evidence upload

Many of the update forms have an evidence upload link. The form for confirming that cast and/or crew are complete does not have that option. If it had, I could upload the PDF I have of the full end credits of a TV episode which I used to add and correct all the cast and crew. I could also upload the

Many of the language selections are not even proper terms or language families — “Central American Indian”? And “Aboriginal” is an imprecise term of v

Inconsistent Usage of the Film Noir Genre Tag

So even before the new genres were added IMDb had Film Noir called out as a separate genre tag; I agree it should be called out as a separate genre; however, I have not seen it applied consistently. To start at the top, there is no precise definition for Film Noir though most would agree that styliz

Order of credits of people in photos

It would be great if the credits of the actors in photos were in the same order as they appear in the photo.

Add a button to name and title pages to copy the contribution link text to the clipboard

I would like to see a button on name and title pages that will automatically copy the contribution link text ([link={key}]) to the clipboard. This would make it much easier (and probably more accurate) to insert links to other titles or people into contributions.
