Watchlist: Automatically delete a title from my watchlist when I rate it.
Really think IMDb should automatically delete titles from my watchlist when I rate them, it stands to reason I have watched the film if I decide to rate it.

Hi Dave George, Another user has suggested automatically deleting titles from their watchlist when they've rated the title. If/when I find that suggestion, I will post a link in this thread so you may click the like button. I personally prefer to keep titles in my watchlist after I rate them. Occasionally older films that I like are shown in theaters. A recent example is Miracle on 34th Street. If IMDb were to implement this idea, I would hope they would make this optional. Note: I am a long time user of IMDb and not a staff member.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Auto-clear a film from the Watchlist after beeing rated. It's only logical so why is this not a feature yet? Thanks.

Some of us use Watchlist for alternate purposes than its title suggests. It's currently the easiest way to collect search results into a list (which then usually, but not always, gets transferred elsewhere.) I agree with Dan Dassow that if implemented I'd hope it's an Option, not automatic.

When I rate a film, it's still in my watchlist yet. Maybe, you can add some feature that when a movie in my watchlist is rated, it's get out. Note: This comment was created from a merged conversation originally titled Watchlist

Sometimes I put movies in my watchlist because I'm interested in re-watching them at some point in the future. Or because I haven't seen them since childhood. I would hate this.
