Comedy, Sports, Romance, and Fantasy are not cinematic genres usually associated with Martin Scorsese, yet he has done them all -- and more. Not all of his films are disturbing and violent and, though he is most famous for Mob movies and characters like Travis Bickle, this is a director with so much range that he is as equally capable of making a masterpiece of a romance novel set in the 19th century or a family film set in Paris.
