LivePoll: Face-Off: 'The Irishman' vs. 'Heat' vs. 'The Godfather: Part II'
Which of these three De Niro - Pacino collaborations is your favorite?
List: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls091195424/
Poll: https://www.imdb.com/poll/4zRRDwVBywI/?ref_=po_ti
Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are, arguably, the greatest film actors of their generation; perhaps only Streep and Nicholson enter the same sphere. Pacino and De Niro have been onscreen together four times, not counting documentaries. One of those films, 'Righteous Kill,' was, at best, a tepid artistic success. The other three, however, including the brand new 'The Irishman,' seem to have provided worthy vehicles for the two actors' caliber of talent and skill. Which of these three De Niro - Pacino collaborations is your favorite?

I like this poll suggestion, aside the De Niro Pacino connection, all three revolve around the bond between and exploits of three crime families or crews.

Sara, if you could please update the intro (remove "brand new"), and update the IMDb ratings for Heat (now 8.3) and The Irishman (now 7.8).

Great actors. Great films. My favorite is The Godfather Part II.
I do not like however how your description say "perhaps only Streep and Nicholson enter the same sphere." Strictly speaking, these actors of different generations (Pacino and Jack Nicholson are not Baby Boomers). Also, there is a notable age gap (12 years) between the oldest Nicholson and the youngest Meryl Streep. And as always, this palmares omits actors who are as good, but not as popular (e.g. Liv Ullman born in 1938, Catherine Deneuve born in 1943, Warren Betty).
