Sailor Moon is one of the most succesful manga comics, and also one of the most influential anime series.

Since its first adaptation with Bishôjo senshi Sêrâ Mûn (1992) it has lead to various tv series, feature films, short films and tv specials, and it has inspired many other female lead Japanese animations.

The series follows the adventures of 10 heroines getting as they face their antagonist to prevent the theft of a magical artifact called the Silver Crystal and that way preventing the destruction of the galaxy.
