Chariots of Fire (1981) depicts the story of two British athletes that won gold medals at the 1924 Olympics, they were Harold Abrahams, champion in the 100 metres race and Eric Liddell champion at the 400 metres.

Their feat turned 100 years old this 2024 and it was achieved in the city of Paris that is organizing the Olympics this year, a century after the last time the event was held in France.

Chariots of Fire won 4 Oscars in 1981 including best picture, but none of its two main actors managed a nomination.
