@jeorj_euler Kissinger wasn’t a movie star. He was a politician and an extremely smart one too.

Yes, I know. I just brought up the both of them for being famous, despite them not working in the show business of the silver screen and television, as neither cast nor crew. Plus, they died nearly the same day after living for a very long time.

Also, we're no strangers to affording attention to high-profile athletes and journalists, the kind of people whose filmographies are almost exclusively "self" credits. Similar is the case with monarchs who regularly stay in the mass media spotlights but who may not have ever really participated in a movie production or even a simple interview on a thing like a talk show.

The Jeffersons

Sanford and Son

One Day At a Time

Good Times

Silver Spoons

The Facts of Life

And associate producer on “The Princess Bride”. If you are going to talk about Norman Lear, the 1960’s to the early 1980’s were his heyday. Especially all the shows that premiered in the 70’s. And there are a lot of them.

May he rest in peace. He may have had a up-and-down career, but he was the lead actor of Barry Lyndon, one of the greatest film of all time in my opinion.

@Maxence_G I haven't seen much of him yet, but What's Up Doc is one of the best comedies I've ever seen.

"What's Up, Doc?" left me a little disappointed, I felt it tried to hard to imitate the tone of 30s screwball comedies but the end-result felt like an overdose of corniness and humor bound to feel dated in a matter of years... it does contain however one of the funniest moments I ever witnessed in a film, it made me laugh so hard I hard to rewatch it, film it and share it on Whatsapp.

Not the best actor out there but 3 iconic roles and a sad loss for movie fans.   Rest in Peace, preppy!

I don’t know if this counts . Lola Dee. She was a singing star and she does have a IMDb page with no picture, and 1 film credit for a tv show appearance. https://christiannewsalerts.com/legendary-american-singer-lola-dee-dead-at-95/?utm_source=CNA&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=CNA2&utm_content=CNA2A

her IMDb page: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm14560436/?ref_=fn_al_nm_2

noted songs:

"Dig That Crazy Santa Claus,"

"Padre," which Elvis Presley named as one of his favorite recordings. She started in the swing era and went to rock ‘n’ roll.

“Dance Me Loose”

"Old Man Mose"

"Down Yonder"

"Takes Two to Tango"

"Don't Let the Stars Get in Your Eyes”

”Hitsity Hotsity”

”paper Roses”

”only You (and You Alone)”

”She recorded another two-dozen songs over the next two years, including a cover of the Chordettes hit "Born to Be With You," two popular duets with Rusty Draper, "Scratch My Back" and "Behind Those Swinging Doors," and the title song from Rita Hayworth's film "Fire Down Below."”

She was on the ABC’s show “Teen Town” (1945) - later known as “Junior Junction” (about a town run by kids). That was from the article I had posted up above. And this “An appearance on the very popular "National Barn Dance," led ABC to sign her as a staff vocalist, and she sang five days a week on a 15-minute show with famed guitarist George Barnes.”

@Tsarstepan I know. I just have to do heavy marketing for a poll that has a deadline of midnight New Year’s Eve for suggestions - hence the reason for the word countdown. It also emphasizes movies that are in widespread commercial release before New Year’s Eve.

Back checking from the list I posted as a response to Tsarstepan:

Len Goodman - judge of Dancing With The Stars

Strictly Come Dancing

I don’t know this guy but he was on the list and he was honored by Sir Elton John, and Queen Elizabeth II, and he was a fierce fighter in the fight against A.I.D.S. which, for that fact, I think he should be mentioned here,

Paul O’Grady - known for

- the prisoner in In the Name of the Father

- Lily Savage in The Lily Savage Show
