You probably already know this, from a book I have about the history of horror movies, after the dropping of the nuclear bomb, an era of horror movies started that were more scientific in nature, Aka sfyfy horror. And of course the Martian invasion films started because people feared what might fall out of the sky.  The sfyfy horror films you are referring too usually has the common thread of nuclear radiation mutations. “Them” is considered one of the best nuclear mutation SciFy horror films.

Don’t worry about it. I got 9 with 0 votes. So I can easily swap it out with one of them. (With all the transformers fans out there, no body voted for Bumblebee?) besides, it is Ray Harryhausen! Remember how many films on this list are ether his work or remakes of the original films he had worked on (“King Kong” and “Mighty Joe Young”)?

As for Robert Wadlow, I guess this list didn’t get the largest person ever filmed, but the list got the largest characters ever filmed. This list is about characters.

@ACT_1​ yes, “The incredible Shrinking Man” belongs in that category but I’m not going to use it because the cat and the spider are normal size but seen from the smaller man’s perspective. That makes me rethink Gulliver. But in the next stop in Gulliver’s travels, he does stop in the land of giants. That is not usually portrayed in the film versions but I do know of two that did: one staring Ted Danson and the other staring Jack Black. I don’t knew if the Richard Harris version did.

here is a small story for you. In Chicago, at the museum of Science and Industry, there used to be (I don’t know if it is still there), there used to be a small log cabin you walk into with a floor slanting to a large window, on the other side of the window is Paul Bunyan’s head telling his story. He is holding the cabin up.
