I am looking for characters who did something for greater good. Those who set positive example are also fine.

Removed Ferris Bueller as I think it doesn't fit now.

I haven't seen any of those movies except 'Back to the Future. And Marty doesn't fit because he is doing everything for himself and family.

For others based on the plot:

Nancy - It looks like she is just trying to save herself from the killer. If so, she might not fit the criteria.

Joel - I think this is similar to Ferris Bueller. I think it doesn't fit.

Ronald - Same as above.

I didn't write it, but mostly I am trying to keep characters aged 14-15 to 22 more or less.

I had 'Gordie' in the list who was 12, so removed it. And for same reasons cannot add Scout Finch, Paikea, Akeelah, Wadjada. I know the first two are all time iconic characters, but they fit more as kids.

Lara - This choice seems complicated, I am not sure about it after reading the plot. So, I would not add it unless someone has strong reasons.

Buffy - Focusing on movies only, and movie character doesn't seem to be that great. Still thinking though.

Keepig it for characters aged 14 or more as mentioned in previous response. Thus not adding Jojo, Billy, Amy, Missy.

Emma Nolan - From the plot, it doesn't look like she did much to be iconic.

Enola Holmes - Thinking.

Nancy - It is similar to Buffy. Thinking.

Peter Parker - Added, but from first series because I feel he had to do more struggle story wise.
