Live Poll: What If Movies

These movies show other versions of life. How different it would be with just another choice. Which do you think does it best?

I'm not sure I got the idea... It is about Parallel worlds, comparing contrasting worlds like The White Tiger or something like Scrooge in A Christmas Carol???

Ι don't remember these 2 movies...🤔

It's about how someone's life changes, if he chooses something or not (and shows the two different paths in his life)...

Good idea! I think I have some fitting movies on the tip of my tongue and just can't remember them. Hopefully I'll think of them. I'll also look through my list of films to see if I can find some more.

Of these, I think 'It's a Wonderful Life' does the best job.

May I suggest one edit to the intro?

Which do you think does it best?

(If there were only two options, "better" would be correct but since there are more than two choices, "best" is the word. English is a strange and picky language, lol.)

@rubyfruit76 Thank you...my english is basic... 😏

I am also racking my brains to remember the title of a movie...

I think I saw it on Netflix (just came out about a year ago) and it was about a woman who preferred not to have married her husband, she wished for it, the wish came true but she lost her whole life and her children & was trying to find them...

Whoever remembers it, saves me!!!!! 😉😉

We could include too many SF time travel films, but this list could fill up quickly, and perhaps lose the spirit and tone in which it was originally conceptualised.

Notwithstanding, I'll throw some titles out there:

Back To The Future Part 2 (1987)

Looper (2012)

Deja Vu (2006)

@NYVKE cause I don't remember these films full plot... Show various options of life??

Because the majority of films with time travels show what changes were made with the trip, but don't show the version without it ...

for example (Interstellar, Back to the Future, The Time Traveler's Wife, Twelve Monkeys, Planet of the Apes etc.)

Yeh, I think these titles may be deviating too far from the spirit of this poll.

They were carefully selected from a zillion Time Travel movies I've seen including the ones you have named, but still... maybe table them.

It's late here, I'm sleepy. TTY TMR.

Yesterday (2019)

The alternate reality happens by accident, not by choice. Not sure if it's right for your poll?

@Jessica I think it's ok!!!! I added it..!!!! 😉

P.S.: Even so, most of the choices in the other films are made unintentionally and not on purpose (except some with time travelers)...

@NoRa_FoKa That's the beauty of polls, discovering new things to watch. I have seen the first three films, but the others are also new to me.
