I love Mr. Miyagi. There is no quote of him? He had some of the best quotes ever. True and powerfull!
Mr. Miyagi in Karate Kid 4:
1: Julie-san, fighting not good. But if must fight... win.
2: The sun is warm, the grass is green.
The Best: It's stupid when neighborhood gangs kill each other with no reason. It's stupid when countries fight wars. Not stupid to respect all living things.
Mr. Miyagi in Karate Kid:
1. Walk on road, hm? Walk right side, safe. Walk left side, safe. Walk middle, sooner or later
[makes squish gesture]
2. To make honey, young bee need young flower, not old prune.
3. Man who catch fly with chopstick accomplish anything.
4. Better learn balance. Balance is key. Balance good, karate good. Everything good. Balance bad, better pack up, go home. Understand?
You can find wise words in each of the movies and think at least one quote of Miyagi should be contained. I simply love them all. Even the one which failed because of beginners luck. There was a deeper wisdom in it, but it was destroyed by catching the fly (Daniel did), which meant that Miyagi can't accomplish either. The fly catching scene was a kind of meditation lesson, which badly went wrong.
