Live Poll: The Movie Poll

These movies are exactly what it says on the tin: Movies.

What's your favorite movie with THE and MOVIE in the title?

* One per franchise

* 25,000 IMDb ratings minimum (just like the Top 250 Movies, in which none of these movies are featured)

List: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls568466985/

@Peter_pbn ,

Great idea, I had the same idea a while back, but never followed through. It might be a good idea to add a note for movies that the title has since changed and they have dropped either The or Movie or both from the current known title that displays in the IMDb poll list.

For example  answer note

Original title: Batman: The Movie

I added the relevant titles - sometimes it's the original title, sometimes an English alternate title.

@mariojacobs,

I think it has to have both "The" and "Movie" in the title either when it was released or currently. I don't think it qualifies it only has one of the two words.

I am not even sure this qualifies with an alternate English title, but you get the idea.

Also, after I made this list I found that there was an old poll with "movie" titles, so at least my "the" requirement makes it a bit different, in addition to having a few recent titles.

I wouldn't say it is common, but it seems like every TV series that ends and they come out with a movie a few years later has "The Movie" added onto the end of the series name.

Yeah, "The Movie" or "The Motion Picture", that is.
