You might want to drop Lake Placid (1999) because that's a fresh water lake. And same goes for Attack of the Giant Leeches (1959). Daylight (1996) is river water. There ain't no NYC tunnels in or near the ocean.

Not sure why you have the more divisive Poseidon remake and not the original? The Poseidon Adventure (1972).

And the irony of having The Abyss (1989) on the list given its very benign ending. I personally would love to find my way down that deep path.
