You do realize that there's a maximum of 35 options, right, and despite stating a 3 nominations per member rule ... that you gave Breumaster 7? You should try and be a bit more disciplined here and allow others to nominate a few suggestions before breaking a general rule establishing these IMDb Poll user-generated lists.

Mario,

These charaters and videogames I suggested are just for your consideration. Normally you decide, which of them you take on the list.

If you asked me, which characters I would let stay on the list, if it was my list, I would take Carla Tortelli, Cliff Clavin, Al Bundy, Kelly Bundy & Al Borland.

If you asked me, which videogame soundtrack I would use on my list, it would be Turrican, Turrican II, Monkey Island, MDK & Leander.

But clearing your list is to be made by yourself.

TsarStepan:

I understand your anger, but could you please be a little more diplomatically, if not friendly? For many users this is a spare time joy, not the military. I underline: Basically you're right. But you often seem to be too angry.

Does anybody know a streaming service that has Home Improvement? I really miss that one.

60's - Maxwell Smart - Mel Brooks, say no more.

70's - Norman Gunston - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW2kSkurQFs

80's - Sledge Hammer - Corny as hell 80's cop show.

90's - Niles Crane - So many quirks to his character and DHP carried it off so well.

00's - Russell Coight - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWV1bbLvCxE

Comedy is all about timing, and I think a big part of what made these shows funnier was that you only got to see 1 episode at a time. If you watch any of them back to back, they get repetitive, and lose their charm quickly, but give them a few days between episodes and they just work so much better.

@rob_webster

thank you for your suggestions. All included, Sledgehammer and Get Smart are excellent series, I even rewatched the shows some years ago. Frasier I never watched. The other two I didn't know. Are they sitcoms?

Norman Gunston was a very awkward character from The Aunty Jack show from the 70's, and he went on to have his own "tonight show" where he'd give the greatest interviews, especially of Americans that had no idea what to make of this wierd bloke with a bad comb-over and bits of tissue stuck to his shaving cuts. He'd ask questions the mark wasn't prepared for, like he's ask Muhammed Ali wouldn't he prefer to got to Manilla for a nice holiday and make up and be friends with Joe Frasier, or he asked the members of Kiss which one is the construction worker.

Russell Coight was the star of All Aussie Adventures, a mockumentary of Australian outback life. Basically a piss-take of Steve Irwin or Alby Mangles types. The show ran for 2 seasons in the early 00's, and came back for another in 2018, but he keeps popping up randomly on tv shows as a special guest, and has become something of a national hero.

Benson (Robert Guillaume) from Soap... he was so funny and stole the show so much that they spun him off into his own series "Benson."

Ted Baxter (Ted Knight) from The Mary Tyler Moore Show... a pompous windbag that was laugh out loud funny.

Maynard G. Krebbs (Bob Denver) from "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis"... more people watched the show for this supporting character than the main character.
