'Great poll idea and great list. I don't know which one I'd pick but I do often like films that aren't strictly linear so (maybe beginning with the chronological ending or) probably medias res.
I'm not sure that this would work or if it would just needlessly complicate things but I was thinking of a combination of two or more: for example, Argo is probably a combination of an introduction text (definitely: the illustrations / mini graphic novel) and voice-over (possibly), although I guess the voice-over could be considered part of the introduction text.
