Still, waiting for a better image I've uploaded to be approved.

Can you offer the particulars? I don't know what I'm looking at: movie, the context of the scene, whether these hands are still attached and controlled by something or someone on the other side of this perhaps portal?

That freeze frame is from Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead. I would be happy to explain what happens with the hands once the portal, a link between two worlds, is closed while an object transcends the teleportation boundary. I wish, however, that I could've found a screen shot from a more suitable part of the scene in question. In short, the events play out like a rehash of a scene from the original Phantasm, which involved individual fingers instead of whole hands.

Yeah. I'm still kind of confused about if the arms are still attached to its biological owner on the other side of the mirror/portal and if they do become separated from the body, are they still animated? I haven't seen any of the movies especially the first one, so "a rehash of a scene from the original Phantasm" doesn't help describe what is happening.

Yes! The severed limbs reanimate. That's what I would've preferred to post a screenshot featuring. The scene is much more interesting to watch than to describe.

I'm still waiting for that Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead image to be approved and find its way to its image gallery. Otherwise? It's ready now. I can always push it in a day or two when the image finds its way publicly.

I was just thinking that it's been a while since I did the whole waiting for an image for a poll and checking the image gallery every day -- I think that I oddly miss it, lol.
