Un país para comérselo (Page has no plot, but its a show were two famous Spanish actors travel around their country trying food of all the towns theiy visit.)
Former Monty Python, Michael Palin, has several highly acclaimed, highly ambitious travel series.
Around the World in 80 Days (1989-1989): Michael Palin attempts to copy the exploits of fictional character Phileas Fogg, by trying to travel around the world (without flying) in 80 days.
Pole to Pole (1992- ): Michael Palin undertakes a journey by the most direct route possible with the most land to cross from the North Pole to the South Pole.
Full Circle with Michael Palin (1997- ): Michael Palin embarks on another epic journey of exploration and adventure, this time 15,000 miles through 18 countries around the Pacific rim.
He has more but I believe these are his most famous ones.
