I like the look of Church from the original more than the one from the remake, but I felt the daughter character was underutilized in the original, kind of like a cop-out, so the remake has a much stronger ending. I've not seen Bloodlines, so the sequel to the first one seems like it could be the weakest among those I've seen thus far. Honestly, I didn't even know about Bloodlines, but even if I did, I probably would not have bothered, since the sequel titling is so cliché.
