By duos, do you mean that they should have no other siblings? If so, Bart and Lisa and Ron and Ginny don't qualify.

I don't think it really matters if they have a baby sibling, Bart and Lisa form a solid duo because Maggie is literally an extra in the house (except for some episodes)

Besides, Wednesday and Pugsley also have a brother (Pubert)

In essence, yes it shouldn't matter.

I was trying to avoid confusion when there are 3 or more siblings and I don't know which 2 I should consider.

If the other sibling(s) are not quite part of the overall story, I am happy to include them.
