British-Australian character actor Hugh Keays-Byrne passed away at the age of 73 on December 1, 2020.

Which of these two memorable main antagonists from cult Mad Max franchise portrayed by the late, great, Keays-Byrne is your favorite?

List.

Fun fact: casting of Keays-Byrne in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) is not a random choice of the same actor, since in the very early drafts he actually was Toecutter surviving the events of the first movie utterly crippled. George Miller then decided against it, but since they've already bonded again for canceled Justice League Mortal movie, Miller cast Keays-Byrne anyway.

2020 just can't stop with celebrity deaths that hurt me on a personal level. And with deaths in general, as well, which sucks utterly.

@Karen_P I can't honestly choose one of the two myself, to be honest. Both are great performances in their own special way, if I do love original Mad Max more than the Fury Road. :)

I love all four movies and I'll probably at least really like the Furiosa spin-off George Miller's working on right now, because he's alsways an awesome director and announced cast so far is really strong, as well.

Still, I have a very personal bond with the first movie, which came into my life like a storm in 2010 and was the foremost reason I got the driver's license in 2011.

@Jessica Great thanks for proofread! Corrected!

It's amazing things like that still appear in typing sometimes, after years upon years of perfecting English to an almost-native level.

Then again, I've seen some of the native speakers writing things like that, so there's that.

I have seen Thunderdome, the original Mad Max, and Fury Road.

Fury Road is better by a landslide, but Toecutter is creepier than Immortan Joe.
