FYC, I think some tweaks would benefit your introduction and question. Her birthday has already past, so you should adjust the tense. She didn't stop acting in 1966, so qualifying with partially would be better. I like best known over widely know, but its a coin flip and your call. Also, the question uses starring, but some of the roles are supporting ones.
