Sidney Lumet was great, indeed. I'm glad you did this poll. My vote will probably go to The Verdict or Dog Day Afternoon unless Before the Devil Knows Your Dead doesn't get many votes; if that happens, I'll give it my vote even though the first two are my favorites.

You have the wrong title at #21, should be Long Day's Journey Into Night (1962).
