It's a pity that there is not a proftable market for Indian movies in Germany, because I saw really good movies from india. I best like the movies with (and mostly from)  Aamir Khan. But most movies are not dubbed -and that's what we are about in Germany we are pampered with excellent dub in mostly any movie. We got the best dubbing industry around the world (or at least one of the best). And especially people beyond 40 y.o.a. (or older) want all to be dubbed. I watch special movie with subtitles, but I don't really like it, because it takes the look down from the images. I want to concentrate on what I see. So I didn't see many of these movies. I'll vote for 'Gangs of Wasseypur', which was very impressive.

Would you see 'The White Tiger' also as a gangster movie? If yes, I'd vote for it.

Dubbing is really a problem within India as well. South India has 4 prominent languages and each of them is a big industry itself. To be honest, I prefer dubbed version of the South movies because it's practically impossible to learn all languages. Subtitles are only good if you understand at least half the language. I watch English movies with subtitles for that reason.

I wouldn't consider 'The White Tiger' a gangster movie. That is more of a con job movie at best. Probably the main difference between the two is, doing small crimes and being a serial criminal.
