@Aris_Athanas You still have the ranks wrong. The credits on IMDb are wrong. You can cross-check it, that is why I provided the wikias. A first seargent is four levels higher and a Lt. Colonel is one rank lower. I have seen both these movies multiple times and I am positive.
FYC, I think there are more leads that are not correctly listed on polls in this series still. I think it would be worth your time to check them against some reliable secondary source that provides a listing of the stars for each movie and by extension who the lead characters are. It would catch a lot of the problems that seem to be slipping through.
ie. Mutiny on the Bounty is a 1935 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer drama film directed by Frank Lloyd and starring Charles Laughton and Clark Gable, based on the 1932 Charles Nordhoff and James Norman Hall novel Mutiny on the Bounty
@Aris_Athanas I don't think #3 is right, there was more than one lead character and the film was more of an ensemble effort with two big stars headlining Jimmy Stewart and Charlton Heston and two lesser stars that had equal to more screen time and were the focal point in the plot to a degree. My guess is that this movie would best described as having four co-leads with Buttons third or fourth among equals. I have seen this movie at least two to three times and would agree with the wikepedia recap below.
Thanks for updating, a seemingly minor detail, Buttons the Clown. I realize IMDb lists it "Buttons" A Clown and I have no idea which of the two correctly matches the on-screen credits, as other sources cite it differently. I would make a judgement call.

IMHO, these two leads are incorrectly cited, as well their ranks, both films have two male co-lead characters.
#4 Sgt. Milton Warden / Karen Holmes in From Here to Eternity
sholud be
#4 First Sergeant Milton "Milt" Warden / Private Robert E. Lee "Prew" Prewitt
https://ww2-movie-characters.fandom.com/wiki/Milton_Warden
#8 Colonel Nicholson in The Bridge on the River Kwai
should be
#8 "Commander" Shears / Lieutenant Colonel Nicholson
