Correction: does Tom Cruise show his finest face

I'm not sure about "on a first plane". Maybe "in the foreground" is better?

If taken literally, maybe Vanilla Sky, although he looks younger there than he was and his face got better as it matured. If meaning his best performance, Collateral, although I also like that poster and his appearance on it (and in the film). 'Good collection of images spanning a pretty long career.

I vote Vanilla Sky (2001), although I'm not sure about the phrasing of the question. Do you mean the poster in which his face looks the best? Or is "his finest face" supposed to be like "his best face", as in putting your best face (or foot) forward?
