@TheOldJalapenoman​ For the budget invested, anyone would have high expectations in these films... but in the end, reality overcomes illusion.

@GabrielFox​ I don't usually have high expectations for big budget films.  Most spend that money on lots of special effects that tend to cover up weak stories, bad acting, and large plot holes (yes, I have just described most superhero movies and all of the Star Wars films in the sequel and prequel trilogies).

@TheOldJalapenoman​ I understand you, but there are cases like Titanic, The Matrix or Avatar, in which big budget result in huge blockbusters.

@GabrielFox​ Blockbuster does not always equal quality.  Avatar 1 was a solid movie.  Number 2, which is raking in the bucks, is a terrible movie.
