@cinephile It's such an unpopular opinion I am really interested to hear more. 

I can admit this film is certainly a niche offering that got lucky on the starpower, but since I am a part of the niche I'm biased and I enjoy it.

I'm sure that the actors had more fun making it than me watching it, the storyline is what it is, I mean I could have written a more coherent, engaging story. 

The sex jokes aren't funny at all, pretty sure only Tarantino and Rodriguez laughed at this scene.

The plot twist is just a big "middle-finger" to viewers, and the rest is disgusting killings, poor acting performances even by Keitel, and more unfunny sex jokes. 

@cinephile I must confess, I laughed at it, if that was more of a smirk. What got me personally was how deconstructed and absurd the "machismo" in the scene is, how awesomly impractical the weaponry is and, well... Those two are some of the best makeup artists ever, Greg Nicotero and Tom Savini and they also can act. Their facial expressions alone are very much entertaining.   

It might sound counterintuitive, but you might enjoy the TV series adaptation. It tries to be more grounded and dillutes much of the crude humor, although not all of it.
