Bugs Bunny, and all the Looney Tunes, have been around since the 1940s. I think they're a little more longevitied than Homer Simpson.

Mickey Mouse has been around since 1928, Goofy since 1932, Donald Duck since 1934, Porky Pig since 1935, Daffy Duck since 1937, Bugs Bunny since 1938 (although he would not reach his final form until 1940).

By the way, where is Felix the Cat? He has been around since 1919. He was the first animated character with status as a star.
