A fine gruesome list, but doesn't Arya's surprise killing of child-beater Meryn Trant belong on this list?

Good suggestion. I thought so too, initially, but removed it as an option as the three things she did to him made it a too complex an option, In reality, they were borderline for inclusion on creativity. I chose instead to save some spots for the even more creative deaths to come.

Thought the element of risk to Arya/the killer, which is absent in some of the poll choices, enduring the beating to be alone with Trant, & the fact she removed the false face & attacked as herself heightened the creativity for me, not to mention she brought down a man twice her size.
It's a fine line, tough choices. Would rate Wun-Wun's snatching the crossbowman who shot him, slamming him to a bloody pulp against the wall, then tossing him at Sir Alesser's feet, above Mag's rather straightforward run at Gren & his men, of which we see only the result.
 
Another candidate might be Brienne's lightning dispatch of the 3 Stark men who stop her & Jamie on the road... followed by the slow & creative impalement of their leader for cruelly denying one of the hanged barmaids a quick death.
Might tiny Denaerys, walking unarmed into the company of Khals & bloodriders, and first baiting, then destroying them all by fire have been another choice?

I agree, I liked all those scenes too. It came down to a judgement call as there were too many options to list them all. If you haven't seen this video yet, it is a quick way to see the past six seasons of GoT deaths and puts the whole issue in perspective. Thanks for the feedback.
