Not a big fan. I already told you what I think of Your Name.

I prefer The Garden of Words.

@cinephile

yes, I understand. I am not a big fan either. Just for the sake of making a poll suggestion that might have some voters among today's youth.

I liked to watch some Japanese animes in the 80s/90s, not anymore, I'd rather watch 70s Chinese kungfu movies...

Do you know this one?

Chu long ma liu

For me it's the greatest Kung-Fu movie, I've ever seen. Simply great.

But I also have to admit, that I didn't see many, just a few. Maybe 20,

something like that. The movie was very popular in the middle and late 80s.

And the funniest was that one:

Wu zhao sheng you zhao

(But it's just funny in Germany, because they dubbed it with different German dialects.)

noted, I'll try  to watch them later, now I am watching all Star Trek movies.

Wu zhao sheng you zhao: do you know the title in german?

>because they dubbed it with different German dialects.)

like a Kaefig voller Helden. Hilarious.

Ok, IMDb shows it in German:

The first title reads:

'Hurra, die Knochenbrecher sind da!'

The second title reads:

'Der Dampfhammer von Send-Ling'

I guess IMDb get's your location and automatically changes to your language. In Germany mostly all titles which are translated, are shown translated. I've put the link to my browser. It is the same site. If your search it on youtube with the German title, you may have more luck. I got a VPN, which uses an accesspoint in another part of Germany to avoid getting foreign translations of the titles shown on IMDb. I could also use a accesspoint in the Carribean, or somewhere else, but it won't show German titles, then.

There is also a aka-list in the title-links of the title-site:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078969/releaseinfo?ref_=tt_dt_aka#akas

You can see the titles around the world there.

P.S.:

According to that the english title is 'Monkey Kung Fu' or 'Stroke of Death'.

It's some times ago that I searched it under that titles, but didn't find it.

It would be a pity, if that title would be lost.
