Live Poll: International Films of the '50s
While it would be stretch to say that International cinema dominated the world throughout the '50s, it seems though that many of the generally considered greatest films ever made from that decade came from somewhere else than Hollywood or Britain. The following list compiles all movies from France, Japan, Sweden, Italy etc. released during that decade and rated at least 8.0. I must say I'm quite surprised by the number of votes so far... the others polls also have less than 100 votes, I hope it's because the polls were picked later than usual and it's not a statement, a sad one then, about Neil Simon or foreign movie's popularity...
