If the two sounds categories hadn't been merged into one (something I dislike), then Dune would surely be a part of this group.

There are a lot of titles missing from your list, even from the current top 250, and a lot of errors in the number of nominations.

Here is an official list of most nominated films:

@Peter_pbn

Usually I mention the source of the information, but this time I forgot to include it. It's a long time ago, but I am almost sure I got the movies from:

http://top250.info/stats/

(you have to register to see the info and this site seems to be very precise)

I will check it again later.

No, they are not all in the Top 250. But many of them are: All About Eve, Gone with the Wind, Forrest Gump ...

@Peter_pbn

I wrote to the webmaster of IMDb Top250.Informer about his list and he made the corrections.

I also changed the criteria from 10 to 12 or more nominations.

You're still missing the Oscar count in some films. La La Land for example, had 14 nominations.

Check Peter's list: https://ampasstorage.blob.core.windows.net/ampassearch/Gen-Films10noms.pdf

Personally my favorite source for Top 250 stats is this one: https://250.took.nl/history

La La Land now = 14.

I included both sources:

I included HONORARY AWARDS in the text:

Which is your all-time IMDb Top 250 title with more than 12 Oscar nominations? (including honorary awards)

Oliver! now added since it has a honorary awards (11 + 1)

I don't think it is meaningful to include honorary awards when your subject is nominations. There are no nominations for honorary awards.

I think the titles in grey at top250.info have not been in the Top 250. The Power of the Dog definitely hasn't.

@Peter_pbn indeed, terrible choice of colors, I couldn't tell black from grey.

Removed:

The Shape of Water

Johnny Belinda

Becket

Mrs. Miniver

Oliver!

The Song of Bernadette

Reds

Lincoln

The Power of the Dog

Honorary awards not considered.

@Peter_pbn

thank you, by the way, I posted a text in this thread

https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdb-poll/poll-suggestion-will-smith-vs-chris-rock/6241f676a405856a654482c9

and it was not published.

Do you know if it was blocked and why? I guess it is because of a youtube video inside the text... or the word "cancer".

Could you please check it?

I think "... at Least 12 Oscar Nominations" would have been a more realistic title and question, because most of them don't have "more" than 12 Oscar nominations.
