Season 2, episode 11 of WKRP in Cincinnati:  Jennifer's Home for Christmas

Season 1, Episode 7 of the series was also my favorite Thanksgiving episode of all time, with the famous "As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!"

@Paok_Kilkis

Hi Paok. The Muppet Christmas Carol is a movie.

If it has to be a TV-Series, I'd pick Bright Christmas

With Tim Taylor (Tim Taylor) in Home Improvement. (S7.E11)

It's the Episode, where Tim Taylor get's over the top with his Christmas decoration.

Unbelievable funny. But if I may, I'd like you to keep The Muppets Christmas Carol, even though it is a whole movie/musical.

@Aris_Athanas

My opinion, I think you may be opening a can of worms here, or better need to clarify what qualifies, upfront with a better question. I think TV movies and TV specials should be excluded, unless they are part of the TV series or TV mini-series continuing storyline and have been classified as such, only because they are being marketed as a TV event and because they are an extended length episode. A one off streaming event like this probably doesn't fit that description, nor do ones with annual single installments, or holiday themed ones only, but do not have a season length of individual episodes.

The Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Specials

This title is more like these other holiday event broadcasts that I would describe as a holiday movie or special, rather than as an continuing episode as part of ongoing episodic series. While, they may be part of multi-year, one episode per year series with other installments, they do not have episodic seasons. I think it is stretching the definition of what defines an episodic series. If that is the case, then any TV movie or TV special that shares a bond with another title would seemingly qualify, like these. (ie Dr. Seuss Holiday Animated Specials, Bass Rankin Stop-Motion Christmas Specials, Charlie Brown Holiday Animated Specials). I don't think everyone is on the same page, which explains why the this title seems like an outlier and why no one nominated these other popular and iconic Christmas installments.

Current Question: Which Christmas episode is your favorite?

Better Version(s):

Narrow Scope

Which single Christmas-themed episode* of an ongoing TV series or limited run mini-series is your favorite one? * broadcast, cable, streaming

Broader Scope

Which annual Christmas-themed installment* of an ongoing TV series, a limited run mini-series or part of connected group of TV movies and TV specials is your favorite one? * broadcast, cable, streaming

Should the word "Christmas" be mentioned in the title of the episode?

I'll pick Agries melisses - Episode #3.52 (2021) 🥰
