Live Poll: Highest-Grossing Comic Book Movies

It's no surprise to anyone that comic book movies are among the highest-grossing films being churned out these days. These films are the highest-grossing comic book adaptations according to unadjusted domestic box office gross. With their massive fanbases, they bring in the big $$$, so we as moviegoers can expect to keep seeing them at least for the foreseeable future.

Which of these movies do you believe to be worth its immense box-office gross?

See the original list here.

I'll always be partial to the old ones, so I'll go with Batman, at least it was harder to make than the others, no CGI, real practical effects, and not a pre-established franchise to depend on. 17 movies out of 25 were from the last 5 years so you've got to hand it to Batman.

. Now, i can't help but see these movies as billion-making cash cows allowing producers to buy their 13th yacht or a luxury villa in Italy, easy special effects (I mean computer does everything), easy marketing (Internet pre-release hype), easy money,

Exactly! The cruel reality of life being a business in all ways...

I don't think, that only one deserves  it's gross. There are Options missing:

Most of then

many of them

a few of them

and None of them

I would pick most of them, because for me the only really big dissapointment was "X-men: Apocalypse" and some of the 90'th-sequell-Batman-movies. in the rest of them up there, i mostly always found the Entertainment, i was searching for. There is not only one for me, which deserved it. So i can't vote. It would be another Thing, if you wrote: Which one did MOSTLY  deserve it's gross. Ciao! :)

First the serious and then the fun.

Serious:

1) a return link to here on the poll page please.

2) it should have adjusted for inflation. If you had done that, you might have seen that Superman: The Movie would have been on that list. $525,400,400 domestic gross Adjusted for inflation. In fact, it is 9th of Box Office Mojo’s list on Comicbook movies when the list is adjusted for inflation. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/genres/c... If Bow Office Mojo’s yearly top box office domestic gross went back to 1978 (it stops at 1980), Superman’s actual gross unadjusted, $134,218,018, would have the film ether at 1st or 2nd placefor that year. Why do I say this. Because the top three films of the oldest year of Box Office Mojo’s yearly lists (1980) are:

1. The Empire Strikes Back Fox $209,398,025

2. 9 to 5 Fox $103,290,500

3 Stir Crazy Col. $101,300,000

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/yearly/c...

Superman’s unjusted total would placed at 2. back then. If worked back to 1978, it could have been first. Star Wars was 1977. (In case of you were thinking of using SW against Superman.)

Now to the fun stuff:

So many movies and only one vote! Agony! :)

So I’ll go with what caught my emotions and have food for thought after the film was over.

-so here is my one vote:

The Dark Knight The Dark Knight Rises Batman Iron Man Suicde Squad Justice League Wonder Woman Logan Black Panther Superman Deadpool 2 ! That is my one vote! Did you honestly think I was going to play fair on this one?
